Two updates in this release, October 6, 2026.
Live Answer Frame. When a call connects, the contact card in the dialer now gets a flashing green frame, so you notice the moment a call is answered, even in a busy office full of screens and technology. The flashing stops when you move the mouse, click or press a key, and the frame stays solid green while you talk. When the call hangs up, the frame turns red, matching the line box. It works in Power Dialer sessions with one, two or three lines and in Click To Call. It is on by default; turn it off under Settings > Dialer Settings > Live Answer Frame by unchecking Use Live Answer Frame.
Misc Fields are now Custom Fields. Starting October 7, 2026, Misc Fields are called Custom Fields throughout the app: in Settings, on the contact card, in the Import Wizard, in the merge tag list and on lead capture forms. This is a name change only. Your fields, your data and how they work stay the same, and merge tags keep their existing codes. We renamed them to make it clearer that these fields are separate from the main contact fields.
